Through a pattern of prayer, fasting, and supplication, J.L. Mathis was led by God and released from his covering to start his own ministry. In April of 1998, Grace and Mercy Church of the Living God was born. Through each elevation, the enemy had done his job to kill, steal, and destroy. But, with God on our side and knowing who we are in HIM, we have been able to withstand the wiles of the devil and still proclaim the victory. Our church is best known for our authentic and passionate love for praise and worship. Congregants have testified about the feeling they get when they walk in our doors. We strive to create an atmosphere that will reside in the house. Here at Grace and Mercy, miracles, signs, and wonders truly take place right before our eyes!
